Vor etwa zwei Stunden endeten die diesjährigen The Game Awards und wie schon im letzten Jahr gab es neben der Preisverleihung und musikalischen Unterhaltung, auch viele neue Ankündigungen für die unterschiedlichsten Plattformen. So wurden mit Sayonara Wild Hearts, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Mortal Kombat 11 und Dauntless gleich sechs neue Spiele für die Nintendo Switch angekündigt. Und als wäre dies noch nicht genug, wurde gegen Ende der Show auch noch der erste Charakter des Fighter Pass-Pakets von Super Smash Bros. Ultimate enthüllt (wir berichteten). Dagegen sah es, was die Preise angeht, nicht so rosig für Nintendo aus. Leider konnte keine einzige Nominierung Nintendo einen der beliebten Preise bescheren.
