Ein paar Elemente wie Gravitation und in einer Welt Planeten erinnern an Mario Galaxy. Was das Spielgefühl angeht, finde ich FreezeMe aber deutlich dichter an Super Mario 64, da es viel weniger linear als die Galaxy-Teile ist.

Ich habs mir schon über Steam für den PC geholt, fast durchgespielt und kanns nur empfehlen. Natürlich darf man kein perfekt ausbalanciertes und gestaltetes Spiel erwarten, wie von einer großen Nintendo-Abteilung oder eben von erfahrenen Rare-Veteranen.

Wer schon Spiele wie Super Mario 64 oder Banjo Kazooie geliebt hat, bekommt hier aber einen ähnlich offenen, nicht linearen 3D-Plattformer, der viel zum Erkunden bietet. Eben mit Ecken, Kanten, Bugs und weniger Umfang, da es so wie ich es verstanden habe im Wesentlichen von einem Entwickler programmiert wurde, der noch kein ähnliches Projekt realisiert hat. Dafür ist dieser mit viel Leidenschaft dabei, steht im Kontakt mit der Community und setzt Vorschläge schnell in Updates um. Mein Bruder hat ihn auf eine Sache aufmerksam gemacht und in zwei Tagen wars gefixt.

Wer also auf die alten 3D-Jump'n'Runs steht und bei ein paar holprigen Passagen drüber stehen kann, bekommt hier ein liebevoll gestaltetes und relativ forderndes Spiel mit cooler Spielmechanik Ich bin schon ein Fan und finde, dass das Spiel eine größere Aufmerksamkeit verdient hätte.
