Samsung hat die ersten "SD Express micro SD-Karten" entwickelt. Diese haben eine Lesegeschwindigkeit von bis zu 800 MB/s und sind dadurch etwa 1,4-mal so schnell wie eine SATA SSD. Diese Entwicklung soll durch eine Zusammenarbeit mit einem Kunden für ein "Custom" Produkt entstanden sein.

Das Thema Speichererweiterung für die Switch 2 war bis jetzt immer ein Thema, bei dem es keine wirklichen Gerüchte/Leaks gab. Es besteht durchaus die Möglichkeit, dass Nintendo dieser Partner war und die Switch 2 auf diese neuen Karten zur Erweiterung des Speichers setzten wird. Die erhöhte Geschwindigkeit gegenüber üblichen micro SD-Karten bei gleichem Formfaktor wäre jedenfalls etwas sehr Gutes für die Switch 2, könnte die Kosten dafür niedrig halten und würde den Kunden nicht mit einer eigenständigen Lösung verwirren.

Das alles muss selbstverständlich nichts mit Nintendo zu tun haben, aber ich denke, es ist hier eine Erwähnung wert. Ich bin durch diesen Post auf Famiboard darauf gestoßen.

Update:Yuzu das durch Nintendo verklagt wurde wegen des Emulators.

Hat inzwischen auch einen Anwalt und zieht vor Gericht gegen Nintendo.

Das ist ja Mal ein gute Investition gewesen die 30 Dollar.
